Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile UI/UX Developer with 2-3 years of experience in technology, SaaS, App or website development. This individual will help craft seamless, intuitive, and aesthetically appealing user interfaces for our voice AI products as well as maintain our web presence. There may also be the occasional need for design of marketing materials and other graphical needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining user personas, ensuring that our user interfaces are not only visually appealing but also functional, intuitive, and aligned with the company's vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

UI/UX Design & Development (80%)

• User Research: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that communicate design concepts and user flows.
• UI Implementation: Convert design assets into clean, responsive, and interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React preferred, or similar frameworks).
• User Testing & Feedback: Conduct user testing and iterate designs based on feedback to ensure the final product is user-centric and optimized for usability.
• Design Systems & Standards: Maintain and improve our design system, ensuring consistency across all product interfaces.
• Website Design: Maintain and evolve our online presence.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other designers to ensure seamless handoffs and the technical feasibility of designs.

Marketing Materials (20%)

• Creative Design: Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually engaging marketing assets, such as landing pages, email templates, social media graphics, and presentations.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure that marketing materials align with the company's brand guidelines and voice, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Collaborative Strategy: Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide design input to support marketing campaigns and strategies.
• Product Launches: Support product launches by designing landing pages, banners, or other promotional content that showcases new features or products.

Required Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development, preferably in the tech industry.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or similar).
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• A solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about user needs and design challenges.
• A passion for creating seamless, intuitive, and visually compelling user experiences.
• Experience with or an understanding of voice UI design principles is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in creating or contributing to design systems.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git and design handoff tools like Zeplin.
• Experience with animation and micro-interactions (e.g., using CSS animations, Framer Motion, etc.).
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices in web design.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup or agile development environment.
