100% ONSITE ROLE- 40/hrs a week (Monday to Friday 8-5PM)
Qualifications for the Facilities CAD Drafter/Designer:
Needed to supplement staff in mapping and document services - work in GTech and Microstation on gas and electric prints.
A CAD Drafter, also known as a Computer-Aided Design Drafter, is responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Creating detailed drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers.
Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and specifications.
Incorporating design changes and modifications into existing drawings.
Ensuring that drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
Creating 2D and 3D models of structures, components, and systems.
Performing calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy of drawings.
Organizing and maintaining drawing files and documentation.
Communicating and coordinating with project team members to ensure timely completion of drawings.
Providing support during the construction or manufacturing process by clarifying drawings and providing additional information as needed.
CAD Drafters should have a strong understanding of drafting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks. They should have excellent attention to detail and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications for the Facilities CAD Drafter/Designer:
- CAD/ GIS EXPERIENCE
- MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND PHONE
- MicroStation experience
- utility/gas/distribution experience
- Required to have experience preparing engineering drawings at a power facility or comparable facility.
- Required to have demonstrated proficiency using CAD software or other design software
- 2 yr Technical Degree+ or equivalent certification (minimum) - no high school
