Position Summary:

Are you a creative and detail-oriented designer passionate about crafting seamless digital experiences? Join our team as a UI/UX Designer and help shape the way customers interact with our e-commerce platform. Reporting directly to the Director of E-commerce and Customer Experience, this role offers the opportunity to blend your design expertise with user-centric principles to create intuitive, visually appealing, and engaging interfaces that drive customer satisfaction and conversions.

As a UI/UX Designer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams - including Marketing, Development, and Data Science - to deliver impactful designs that align with business objectives. Your work will influence every step of the user journey, ensuring a cohesive and innovative experience across our digital touchpoints.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver intuitive, user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency and scalability across platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and user needs, translating them into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Partner with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented effectively while maintaining quality and usability standards.
  • Conduct UX research, including user testing and data analysis, to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components to ensure brand consistency.
  • Optimize user flows and interactions to enhance conversion rates and improve overall usability.
  • Develop assets such as web banners, icons, and promotional materials to support marketing initiatives.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in UI/UX design, accessibility, and eCommerce technologies.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile platforms, preferably within an eCommerce or digital product environment.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user-centered design, responsive design, and interaction design.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end design principles of how designs translate into code.
  • Familiarity with UX research methodologies, A/B testing, and data-driven design.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices for inclusive design.
  • Background in optimizing user experiences for conversion rate improvement.
  • Ability to create detailed process flows and UX documentation as part of the planning and design phase.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms a plus, like Shopify, Magento, or Commerce Cloud.
