Job Summary The Field Marketing Associate meets with multi-family property managers and leasing agents at their locations for the purpose of providing them information and support to promote TXU Energy as their electricity provider to residents prior to moving in and/or when renewing their lease. The location and work territory of the position encompasses South Dallas/Fort Worth, central Texas markets of Waco, Temple, and Killeen. Does include an office day at TXU HQ two days/month and 20% overnight travel. Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required. Job Description Key Accountabilities •Make on-site field marketing visits to help promote Vistra brands to multi-family residents and homebuyers at locations that have Partner Marketing Agreements with Vistra brands. •Educate the property management and homebuilder staff on the benefits of the Vistra brand products & services • Collect competitive intelligence information •Document site visits as well as capture competitive intelligence •Provide site management with Vistra brand enrollment results at their locations and run contests as needed to drive higher results. •Review and update system information for accuracy and update customer contact and company data •Maintain and ability to vary sales approach and present different marketing pitches depending on market conditions Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements •2+ years’ experience with customer contact (retail or apartment community) or sales experience •Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills •High School degree or equivalent •Bachelor’s degree preferred •2+ year’s experience with customer contact or sales experience •Experienced in client presentations •Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills •Bilingual in Spanish is a plus •Demonstrated high level of professionalism •Able to solve problems guided by organization policies and goals •Capacity to work independently as part of a sales and marketing team •Ability to negotiate and overcome customer resistance to marketing visits •Excellent listening skills •Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Sales Force desired Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions Requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment: • Occasional long, irregular hours. • Use of a PC, computer terminal and/or telephone over 3 hours a day. • Occasional lifting (up to 40 pounds) bending, twisting, crouching, pulling, pushing, and reaching. • 90% of your time is spent out of the office visiting multi-family properties and homebuilder model homes • Valid driver’s license, transportation, and insurance is required to be able to perform this role • Must be mentally flexible to handle multi-task responsibilities. • Must be energized by tough challenges. • Approx. 20% overnight travel is required Job Family Sales Company Vistra Retail Operations Company Locations Irving, Texas Texas We are a company of people committed to: Exceeding Customer Expectations, Great People, Teamwork, Competitive Spirit and Effective Communication.
