Designer III

Job Description

A client in the Galleria area is seeking a Designer III to join their team. The Designer's responsibilities involve design work and producing drawings for pipeline projects within mapping and surveying. Daily job tasks include processing data for mapping and surveying construction drawings to ensure accuracy, daily communication with project managers and engineers, and working alongside the mapping and surveying leads to execute survey projects. Other responsibilities include coordinating multiple design and drafting projects (3-5 projects at once), creating these designs for pipeline and related facilities based on the scope given by the client, and prepare the drawing and working plans according to the standards and specifications. This is a 12-month contract with potential to extend and this individual must work in the office 3 days per week.

Skills and Requirements

5-10 yeas of drafting experience

3-8 years of industry experience - oil and gas mapping/survey

High School Diploma or GED

Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D

Experience working independently Associates Degree in Design and Drafting Technology

Survey field experience

ESRI ArcPro null
