Photography Intern

Responsibilities include:
  • Taking photos of players during the game. These photos can be used for social media, and some will be featured in the team card set.
  • Capture photos of sponsor on field promotions and other activations.
  • Capture photos of fans in the stands, groups photos, and fans receiving giveaways at the gates.
  • Assist with media day by helping set up and taking photos of players.
  • May be asked take photos at special events at the ballpark on non-gamedays.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Applicants should be college students or recent graduates pursuing a degree/career in Photography, Broadcast, or related field.
  • Camera experience, sports photography experience is a plus.
  • Understand camera settings and be able to adjust to get the best results in different scenarios.
  • Be able to organize and edit photos as needed.
  • Proficient in photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Dates:

Photography Interns will start during the spring semester (early April) and run through the end of the baseball season (September). One training session will be given during the month of March and interns will also assist with Media Day. The baseball season officially begins in April where staff are expected to work most home games through September. Games are played on nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work most Friday and Saturday games is expected. This is a paid internship and college credit can also be awarded for students that need internship credit.
