Title: Marketing & Communications Proofreader
Reports to: Marketing & Communications Project Manager
General Description of Responsibilities:
Working under the Marketing & Communications Project Manager, the Marketing & Communications Proofreader is responsible for the proofreading of all marketing content, with an emphasis on printed materials.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Proofread all marketing content, including catalog and brochure copy, product copy, promotional sales materials, conference materials, advertisements, etc.
  • Assist the Copywriting Team with research projects and developing and maintaining the Marketing & Communications style guide and other product-specific style guides
  • Provide additional support for copywriting assignments as needed
  • Assist the Marketing & Communications Project Manager in project planning as needed
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Marketing & Communications Project Manager, the Director of Marketing, or the EVP of Marketing & Communications
Position Requirements:
  • A college degree with 1-2 years experience in a related field
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Passion for excellence and high attention to detail
  • Organized, self-motivated, and good interpersonal skills

Salary:
$40-45k annual salary range. The position provides a competitive salary based on previous work experience, education, acquired skills, and established relationships. The salary is commensurate with current standards for comparable positions and responsibilities within publishing and other leading not-for-profit ministries. Compensation for every Crossway employee is reviewed and evaluated annually by the Executive Compensation Committee (ECC) of the Crossway Board of Directors.
