AMDEX is seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with all activities involved in the creation, development, and revision of proposals
- Analyzes the government solicitation, identifies requirements and criteria for evaluation
- Translates proposal requirements into a compliance matrix and annotated outline
- Plans, strategizes, and positions the proposal, including developing win themes, best value propositions, discriminators and graphics
- Works with technical leads to define and refine a technical solution, and translates that solution into a winning proposal strategy
- Maintains focus on the win strategy throughout the proposal process and infuses that strategy and its resultant tactics effectively throughout the entire proposal
- Responds rapidly to RFP amendments and implements required changes to proposal
- Prepares status reports and briefings for management
- Prepares, presents, conducts, and participates in reviews at all stages in the proposal
- Develops oral presentations and scripts
- Assists in tracking upcoming and current proposal opportunities
- Provides support for Bid/No Bid decisions
- Assists in the production, reproduction, and packaging of the Red Team proposal, the final Master Proposal, and all hard/soft copies
- Assists in preparation of marketing materials and collateral
- Develops strength statements and works with subject matter experts to develop white papers to support win capabilities
Requirements:
- A bachelor s degree or equivalent and 10-12 years of related proposal preparation experience in a government contracting environment
