We are looking for a dynamic and exceptional HR professional to join our Amazon Advertising organization as the global HR leader for our Advertising Trust and Support Service organizations. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our global organization, shaping our talent landscape and contributing directly to our business success. In this pivotal role, you will be the strategic link between PXT and our business leaders, driving forward-thinking talent strategies (3YP, Org Design transformation, alternate employment models, site strategies, re-imagining talent needs etc.) that align with and enable our business priorities across 12+ countries. This position demands a unique blend of business acumen, strategic foresight, and expertise to shape our organization's future and enhance the employee experience. Your strong business acumen will be crucial in translating organizational goals into actionable HR strategies and initiatives. You'll serve as a trusted advisor, providing executive coaching and influencing decision-making at all levels of the organization. Your role will involve designing and executing innovative solutions to complex talent challenges across diverse cultural and regulatory environments in our global operations. You'll lead the implementation and optimization of PXT programs that drive business success and enhance the employee experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of partnering with business leaders to drive strategic initiatives. You should possess excellent communication skills (including doc writing), the ability to diagnose complex issues, and the capability to influence long-term solutions and outcomes. Key job responsibilities • Partner with senior leaders and their leadership teams to develop the talent strategy needed to support our tremendous growth, and build a work environment where all employees can thrive and grow. • Working closely with specialist HR teams, as well as matrix-ed site and international HR colleagues, keep the right focus on assessing the HR needs in areas such as performance management, talent acquisition, career development, diversity and compensation • Function as a consultant and counselor to key leaders and their respective organizations; engage in strategic planning meetings to translate business needs into HR plans. • Partner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development. • Review and analyze business metrics including data on strengthening teams, retention and employee experience in order to recommend systemic improvements. • Bias for action with stellar operational excellence. • Operates with autonomy, discretion and a true hands-on approach. A day in the life Work with VP and executive leadership team to develop and implement organizational initiatives and solutions at scale. Define people goals that are based on business drivers and tied to strategic priorities of the business. Earn trust as a partner to the extended PXT leadership locally and regionally/globally. Partner with business leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development. Provide coaching to VP and leadership team. Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience in order to recommend systemic improvements. Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree • 10+ years experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably in a business partner role in the tech industry. • 5+ years’ experience working as a business partner, and driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for global organization teams. • Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation, data visualization, and facilitation skills. • Previous employee relations and talent assessment experience Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Human Resources or MBA. • Previous experience leading in a matrix environment (ideally internationally). • Demonstrated achievements in coaching, influencing and problem solving. • Prior end to end senior HR leadership experience supporting a large (1K+), geographically dispersed organization that consists of entry level and senior executive customers. • Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies. • Strong analytical skills, including the understanding of metrics to support plans and monitor performance. The base pay for this position ranges from $139,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $230,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
