ROCHE BOBOIS is one of the largest and most famous contemporary European furniture companies. We are looking for a proactive Design Assistant to join our Pasadena team.

Job Title: Design Assistant

Supervisor: Store Manager

Location: 8850 Beverly Blvd. LOS ANGELES, CA 90048

Requirement: 20/20, SketchUp, V-Ray, AutoCAD, Photoshop. Experience in the Furniture Industry is a plus.

Schedule: Upon Manager’s request (5 days a week incl Saturday) from 10:00am - 6:00pm

Job Description:

• Sales team assistance
• Assist Sales Team with all aspects of design project: Assist Designers at House Calls, document project site.
• Draft and render floorplans on Auto Cad and Photoshop for presentations.
• Customer information: Greet customers and inform them of our services and product information if designers are occupied with another client.
• Marketing and sales tools
• Maintain materials library and update vendor catalogs/pricelists. Contact vendors for sample requests/information on products.
• Maintain showroom’s tearsheet library.
• Tagging, barcode (accessories), store check up (Videos..)
• Showroom layout and administrative tasks
• Merchandising/ layout of the store upon approval/request by the store manager
• Store floor plan update Showroom supplies. Field telephone calls

IT systems:

AutoCad, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, 20/20, SketchUp, V-Ray

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Interior design: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Photoshop: 1 year (Preferred)
• AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred)
