POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

THE TEAM

The Office of Information Systems (OIS) directs, manages, and oversees the Division of Business Systems and the Division of Operational Systems to provide information technology services to its customers that effectively and efficiently support the agency’s business mission, goals, and objectives.

THE ROLE

The IT Data Network Communication Analyst works within the Networking Services unit providing day-to-day support to the DOT user community, supporting the DOT’s network infrastructure including:

  1. Configuration and deployment of network systems (routers, switches, wireless controllers, and access points)
  2. Performing network diagnostics
  3. Inspecting and installing cabling
  4. Coordinating the installation and removal of systems and maintaining electronic records
  5. May lead a project team and/or other IT staff as assigned
