Bilingual Graphic Designer (English & Spanish)

Basic Qualifications:

  1. MUST BE BILINGUAL IN SPANISH & ENGLISH TO APPLY
  2. 508 COMPLIANCE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
  3. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance.
  4. Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, and/or Visual Communications.
  5. 2 years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel as related to creating visual communication products.
  6. 2 years of graphic design experience, including typography, color theory, and layout design.
  7. A solid portfolio of work and sound recommendations that reflect clear knowledge and application of graphic design principles.
  8. Agility and ability to work under pressure and produce quick turnaround when necessary.
  9. Attention to detail including messaging accuracy, design consistency, visual alignment, proofreading, and ability to deliver polished, high-quality work.
  10. Human-centered design skills, including storytelling and implementing end-user design techniques and practices for intended audiences.
  11. Clear client and colleague relations and communication.
  12. Ability to work effectively in an environment that supports teamwork, cooperation, trust, and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience designing for public health organizations.
  2. Experience applying brand standards and maintaining brand consistency.
  3. Experience creating custom vector illustrations.
  4. Experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, or Animate to create motion graphics, animations, and gifs.
  5. Understanding of and willingness to use generative AI tools in creative production workflows.
  6. Bilingual English and Spanish fluency, including grammar skills for native speaking audiences of both languages.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits include:
