General Information:

The Breeze is hiring a Breeze TV Sports Director for its weekly news show, Breeze TV for the 2025-26 academic year. Students selected will lead the weekly newscast’s sports coverage on the show and online and have a leadership role on the staff. Position begins April 1, 2025, with training during the weeks immediately after spring break. Must be able to be back to campus two weeks prior to the beginning of the fall semester.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Anchoring the sports block
  2. Coordinating sports video coverage for The Breeze website and the weekly show
  3. Covering sports for The Breeze website and the weekly show

Qualifications:

  1. Broadcast abilities, including on-air presence and ability to report under deadline on a live TV show
  2. Ability to lead a team
  3. News judgment
  4. Ability to meet deadlines

Conditions of Employment:

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate). Students must have a 2.0 or better cumulative GPA.
