Job Summary:As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality content for our website, print media, and digital media. This includes product descriptions, tutorials, FAQs, and technical documentation. You will work closely with subject matter experts, engineers, and developers to ensure that the content is accurate, user-friendly, and aligns with our brand voice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research information through expert interviews on complex technical subjects to create clear, concise content for our website, print media, and digital media.
- Write, edit, and proofread website content, ensuring it is accessible and engaging for a diverse audience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product features, user needs, and technical specifications.
- Develop content strategies that improve website usability and SEO performance.
- Create and maintain documentation standards, style guides, and templates to ensure consistency across all web content.
- Use analytics tools to measure content performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical writing and digital content.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in a web content-focused role.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with web content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices for online content.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HTML/CSS and basic web design principles.
- Knowledge of content strategy and user experience design.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
