The candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data on market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to support our business objectives. As a Marketing Intelligence manager for marketing strategy and insights team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of data-driven marketing strategies. You will: - Conduct Market Research & Analysis: develop comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. Analyze competitive landscape and benchmark against industry standards.- Data Management: Collect and maintain market intelligence databases and reports.- Analyses performance metrics of marketing content across various channels (blogs, social media, email, etc.) to determine effectiveness and ROI.- Reporting & Presentation: Prepare and present findings to senior management and stakeholders. Develop reports that summarize market trends and competitive positioning, key metrics on content performance, highlighting insights and actionable recommendations for improvement.- Collaboration: Work closely with product and solutions marketing, sales, product development, and other teams to align strategies based on market insights.- Strategic Planning: Support strategic planning initiatives by providing market forecasts and scenario analyses. Recommend strategic actions based on market intelligence findings.- Monitoring & Evaluation: Continuously monitor industry developments and adjust intelligence efforts accordingly. Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and product strategies through data analysis.- You have an outstanding ability to explain value and benefits derived from technical concepts to all types of audiences.- Experience in articulating the value/benefits of technical concepts in the context of solving customer problems or business challenges.Deep audience knowledge: You are a quick study, committed to knowing your ecosystem, markets, industries, buyers, and competition better than anyone. - Demonstrated ability to execute on assigned projects with minimal direction, exercise sound business and organizational judgment, and collaborate with team members at all levels across a highly matrixed organization.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and connect the dots as well as research relevant data types to provide insights. - Rigorous and scientific approach to data analysis, you let the data tell the story.- Proven history of being able to effectively manage outcomes by developing key metrics to govern performance and adjust course where necessary.Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of experience of problem solving experience in Data Analysis and Analytical rolesProficient experience with  MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel and TableauBachelor’s degree Strong working knowledge of Excel, Tableau or data visualization tools, PowerPoint, Google Analytics, HubSpot or similar CRM platforms, Social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social)Experience conducting Market Research & Analysis, data management, reporting and presentations Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with industry trends and competitive dynamics.Why Cisco? #WeAreCisco. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday (for non-exempt employees), plus a day off for their birthday. Non-Exempt new hires accrue up to 16 days of vacation time off each year, at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco’s flexible Vacation Time Off policy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use, but is subject to availability and some business limitations. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco’s Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter.  Up to 80 hours of unused sick time will be carried forward from one calendar year to the next such that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is 160 hours. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community.Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
