SHR LLC is hiring: Creative Director in Lakeland

The First United Methodist Church, (FUMC), located in Lakeland, Florida, seeks candidates for the position of Creative Director.

FUMC’s mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ, by being a Worship Plus Three church. Worship is of prime importance and our foundation. The Creative Director must evaluate and lead the creative process to develop and manage social media, website and worship, including graphics, visual branding and video production. A key strength is serving as a team player with the ability to develop and manage teams of people.

The Creative Director will be proficient in the following systems: Adobe Creative Suite, ProPresenter, Constant Contact, Microsoft Office Suite, Word Press, with basic familiarity with HTML 5 and CSS, as well as a working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and website analytics. The position requires a basic understanding of current and emerging social media platforms and printing processes. Supervisory and project management skills are absolutely necessary.

Candidates must possess 5+ years’ experience, demonstrating the ability to communicate a vision of challenging goals, growth and progress. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. is required. Communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal) are critical, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving talents.  A background of working in a large church or organization is strongly preferred.
