Our client, a leader in the engineering and design industry, is seeking a Designer to join their team. As a Designer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, advanced technical abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Develop physical, schematic, and wiring drawings with CAD software from sketches, vendor data, drawing templates, verbal instructions, and notes provided by engineering.
Participate in product design and process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to design and detail components and systems.
Maintain design project schedules and track project status.
Act as a mentor for other drafting personnel.
What's Needed?
Associate’s degree in drafting or design technologies with a minimum of 5 years of drafting and design experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Advanced knowledge of 3D drawing systems and techniques.
Ability to read and create technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and material.
Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office products and drafting software.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deliverable deadlines.
