SUMMARY:

This position provides smooth flow for both the front of the house and back of the house arranging the transfer of food and provides assistance to food servers. Ensures each plate is prepared neatly, properly and in accordance with customer specifications and Kitchen/Restaurant Standards. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide assistance to Food Serves and ensure food orders are served in a timely manner. Deliver friendly and efficient service to ensure a pleasant dining experience for all guests. Checking food quality before serving. Acting as point of contact between the Front and Back of the House Staff. Maintain knowledge of current menu items garnishes, ingredients, and preparation methods. Followed all safety and sanitation policies when handling food & beverage to uphold proper health standards. Runner do not take orders or handle payments. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Entry Level Position High school degree or equivalent preferred Willing to work nights, holidays, and weekends Physically able to carry 35 pounds; able to stand, bend, and move throughout shift Works well and efficiently under pressure as a team or on individual tasks. Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of staff and management EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

LICENSE REQUIRMENTS:

Able to obtain and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constantly walking and standing Constant hearing, seeing and talking Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping Ability to lift 35 pounds.
