The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations will be responsible for leading projects – spanning people management, process improvements, and technology optimizations – to spur digital transformation across the marketing organization at Appian.

This role will lead a team tackling transformational projects, from automating lead routing to improving our SFDC campaign attribution model, as well as rebuilding and maintaining marketing operations, governance standards, and key documentation for marketing and sales enablement. This role will oversee an email marketing center of excellence. In this role, you will: Lead digital transformation of the Martech stack through project scoping, roadmapping, and liaising with our digital operations consulting agency, SalesLabX, as well as through re-alignment of team resources to key project work
Lead operations modernization efforts across SFDC and Pardot, enabling, training, and providing documentation to our entire marketing team to empower them to succeed with our marketing technology stack. This includes lead processing and campaign performance measurement
Build out an email marketing center of excellence, from strategy to editorial planning to nurture pathing to improved email segmentation and activation
Oversee integrations between third-party tools and our CRM to ensure the data integrity of our key systems and reduce the need for manual transfer of data between disconnected tools
Automate and integrate manual, resource-intensive operational activities across the team by bringing on new tools and technologies
About You: Bachelor's Degree
8+ years of related experience
Marketing experience across multi-facets of marketing teams, including campaign marketing, paid media, email marketing, sales enablement and marketing operations
Experience navigating and learning from large multinational organizations, navigating organizations going through change, from company acquisitions to re-structured teams
Inquisitive, detail oriented, positive, team-player attitude
People management experience and track record of motivating teams to achieve great things in the midst of change, as well as conscientious approach to empowering and up-leveling team members through growth opportunities and supportive career pathing
