B2B Product Launch Manager, Kuiper Marketing (B2B) Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). The Product Launch Manager on the B2B PMM team is a highly visible global role responsible for launching new products and services. This person will appreciate a large scope of impact and bring complete clarity to highly ambiguous and complex early-stage global product releases. They will drive the marketing center of excellence, planning and organizing the end-to-end launches of hardware, services, and accessories in all Kuiper regions. This will be someone who enjoys organization, cross-functional management, and rallying peers from engineering, product management, operations, and business development and partner organizations, like AWS. This leader will also manage the entire lifecycle of Kuiper products and services as we update them and introduce new features and service interconnects. Key job responsibilities
Work with broad internal teams to execute the product and service launch playbook. Clarify and drive project commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability. Lead and facilitate launch meetings with key stakeholders, and create mechanisms for centralized reporting. Anticipate changes and bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and make trade-offs that balance the business and operational needs or constraints to launch. Proactively troubleshoot problems, resolve conflicts autonomously, and deliver results. Manage outputs and reporting mechanisms for launch readiness across stakeholders. Consolidate disclosure requirements and plans for stakeholders and partners. Use continuous improvement methods to identify and optimize launches through new mechanisms. Export Control Requirement Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. A day in the life The Kuiper Product Launch Manager role is critical to the success of bringing products to market in a methodical and thoughtful way. This highly visible role will manage multiple timelines and deliverables for multiple product marketing and management teams. Working closely with the Product Marketing Managers, they will collaborate with and manage these internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure timelines are being met and blockers are being addressed, proactively communicating what is needed to ensure a successful and on-time launch. The Product Launch Manager will maintain great visibility through the execution and management of regular product launch management meetings and checkpoints including messaging and creative reviews. The Product Launch Manager will also publish a weekly cadence of update emails/newsletters that ensure current statuses, blockers, needs, and deliverables are always in view of our product management, operations, business development, and marketing stakeholders. 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables) Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
