About the role: We are seeking an experienced and strategic marketing leader to own and scale our partner marketing function at Anthropic. As the Head of Partner Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact initiatives that empower our partners to bring Claude to market, drive revenue growth, and expand our ecosystem, with a special focus on our cloud partners. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling content, drive joint go-to-market campaigns, and forge strong relationships.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive, global partner marketing strategy that directly contributes to Anthropic's revenue goals and market expansion Architect and scale a multi-tiered partner ecosystem encompassing major cloud providers, ISVs, consultancies, and strategic alliances to drive billions in revenue Lead high-level negotiations to secure significant partner investments from cloud partners, including financial commitments, technical resources, and joint marketing budgets Design and implement innovative co-marketing and co-selling programs that position Claude as the preferred AI solution across various industries and use cases Collaborate with Anthropic leadership to align partner marketing initiatives with overall company strategy and objectives Establish and oversee key performance metrics for the partner marketing function, ensuring accountability and measurable impact on business growth Build and lead a high-performing partner marketing team, defining roles, processes, and best practices to support rapid scaling Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities that unlock new markets or create significant competitive advantages for Anthropic Develop and manage a co-marketing budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI across various initiatives and partner types Serve as a key liaison between partners and internal teams, driving cross-functional collaboration to deliver partner-centric product innovations and go-to-market strategies You may be a good fit if you:
Have 10+ years of partner marketing experience, with a proven track record of building and scaling partner programs inside of high-growth technology startups that significantly contribute to top-line revenue goals Possess extensive experience building and managing partner marketing initiatives on major cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Have built a large, high-functioning, geographically distributed Partner Marketing team in the past Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage high-level partner relationships Have a history of success in 0-1 initiatives, bringing new partner marketing programs from concept to execution Are familiar with AI/ML technologies and can effectively communicate complex product offerings Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various audiences Bring strong strategic thinking and project management abilities, with confidence operating cross-functionally Are passionate about Anthropic's mission of building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems
