Overview

As a social media manager and content creator, you will be responsible for helping entrepreneurs create engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and you'll at times be asked to repurpose content they have already created into different mediums (ex. YouTube video into Instagram Post, an email, a blog, etc.). You will also be responsible for engaging on client accounts, creating social media graphics, editing short videos (for Reels, Youtube Shorts, TikTok, etc.) and drafting blogs, emails, and social posts. Rest assured you will never be bored - our clients work in a variety of fields and have a ton of different projects that they're working on, so you'll always have new content to work with. Although your responsibilities will vary based on the needs of the client, typical social media assisting and creation involves:

  • Communicating with team leads on a regular basis

  • Creating content for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.

  • Drafting blogs and newsletters

  • Scheduling social media posts, blogs, and emails

  • Editing short form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels

  • Editing podcast episodes (audio & video)

  • Performing quality analysis and gathering KPIs for social performance

  • You are available to work during regular office hours Monday to Friday for 15 hours/week to start (with the potential to grow to full-time very quickly)

  • You are legally eligible to work in the United States

 

Familiarity with the following softwares is a plus, but not required as long as you are quick and eager to learn!

  • Email Marketing: Flodesk, ActiveCampaign, Kajabi Email, ConvertKit

  • Social Media Platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest

  • Communication: Zoom, Slack

  • Scheduling Tools: Later, Planoly, Buffer, Meta Scheduler

  • Other: Zapier, Airtable, Canva, Manychat
