Interior Designer

to join our vibrant team. The Designer will work closely with a Senior Designer or Project Manager, contributing to various stages of design, from project administration to presentations, concept development, and contract documentation. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the team to create architectural concepts for both interior and exterior repositioning and adaptive projects. Assist in generating design ideas, presentation materials, and construction drawings. Draft and prepare technical drawings. For smaller projects, take charge of all design and drawing tasks. Review engineering and landscape drawings to ensure compliance with design solutions. Work alongside the Senior Designer to research and select fixtures and finishes that fit the project vision. Prepare preliminary concept plans for larger projects and finalize conceptual designs for smaller initiatives. Oversee Intermediate Designers in reviewing space plans and resolving complex design issues. Provide detailed design work for both interior and architectural projects. Develop comprehensive design and furniture packages for interior and exterior applications. Assist in preparation of packages for larger assignments. Gather cost estimates and compile final budget projections. Support field surveys as needed. Manage design budgets on assigned projects and communicate any budget variances promptly to Senior Designers, Project Managers, or clients. Mentor Junior and Intermediate Designers by overseeing their tasks and offering constructive feedback. Conduct client interviews to assess space requirements; proficiency with the Affinity program tool is advantageous. Qualifications: Graduate of an architecture or design program; equivalent experience may be considered. 6+ years of experience in workplace design with a focus on building repositioning, adaptive reuse, and corporate interiors. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Deep understanding of design principles, workplace trends, and aesthetic considerations. Expertise in repositioning and adaptive reuse projects. Strong presentation and communication skills. Advanced skills in space planning and furniture layout concepts. Proficient sketching and rendering abilities. Comprehensive architecture detailing skills. Thorough knowledge of construction documents and procedures. Understanding of building systems, codes, and ADA compliance. Familiarity with path of travel requirements. Working knowledge of contract administration. Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite. Advanced proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
