MARKETING MANAGER
ABOUT YOU:
Are you a creative and strategic marketer ready to drive consumer engagement and growth? We're seeking a Marketing Manager to partner with our Senior Marketing Manager in developing and executing marketing plans for our consumer-focused growth strategies. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to lead comprehensive marketing campaigns, develop effective marketing materials, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive increased profitability and customer satisfaction. YOU HAVE:

Education. BA/BS in Marketing, communications, journalism, business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience. 7+ years of business experience in marketing and consumer demand creation, with experience in developing and implementing integrated on/offline comprehensive marketing strategies including catalog, online campaigns, and retail channel approaches and best practices.

Skills. Exceptional marketing, communication (written & verbal), project management, analytical, and organizational skills. Effective presentation skills and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with large cross-functional teams.

Leadership. Demonstrated ability to work as a leader within teams, motivate and influence others, think fast, respond quickly, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Adaptability. Ability to interact with a variety of individuals cross-organizationally, handle multiple projects with competing deadlines, and perform assignments with minimal notice.

Technical Skills. Proficiency with MS Project, extremely adept at time management with minimal supervision.

Strong Problem Solving Skills. Ability to engage and seek diversity in thought, perspective, and presence for the best possible solutions and results.

Preferred. MBA or 3-4 years of additional related business experience, along with knowledge and understanding of the social media universe and best practices, and desktop publishing experience preferred.
YOU WILL:

Develop Marketing Materials. Create effective marketing materials for consumers, including messaging, collateral, email, social media, and video campaigns. Design comprehensive campaigns with multiple touchpoints to drive increased revenue and consumer engagement.

Execute Marketing Plans. Identify and execute short and long-term marketing plans for consumer initiatives, driving growth for the assigned business, product line, or product. Implement strategies to maximize profitability, growth, and customer satisfaction.

Collaborate Across Teams. Work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure alignment and integration. Collaborate with internal creative teams, digital teams, outside vendors, marketing services, product marketing, legal, sales, customer service, IT, and manufacturing to implement marketing initiatives effectively.

Lead and Develop Team. Provide direction, coaching, prioritization, and work allocation for 1-2 direct reports on the marketing team. Ensure their development and engagement in company priorities.

Manage Budget. Oversee marketing budget and forecast to meet profitability goals.

Typical/expected % of overnight travel: Up to 10 – 15%

Our Marketing team leverages digital marketing strategies and tactics focused on schools, independent sales reps, parents, and students to deliver the right message, to the right customer, at the right time. Team members will understand and leverage customer insights through data analysis & testing to then create experiences and relevant content throughout the customer journey and to support our specialized products lines including Yearbooks, Class Rings, Graduation Products, and Professional Sports. Through executing across a variety of consumer touchpoints on jostens.com, social, e-mail and print materials, the team collaborates with internal partners to create relevant and timely marketing campaigns to meet the needs of our customers.
