Head of PR Location: New York, US (Hybrid travel as required) Reports To: Creative Director Direct Reports: PR Executive (UK-Based) PR & Content Assistant (US-Based) [Future Hire] About the Role ALIGNE is looking for a confident and experienced Head of PR to lead our communications strategy across the US and UK. This role will focus on building ALIGNE’s profile, predominately in the US, securing impactful press coverage, managing brand partnerships and growing our community of editors, influencers, and women who inspire others. This role will lead PR activations, own the US & UK strategy, and oversee influencer collaborations—supported by our PR Executive. It’s an opportunity to shape conversations and amplify our brand story—championing ALIGNE’s vision and ensuring our voice is heard across both markets.This is a hybrid role, working closely with the Commercial Director in the US and will involve regular travel for events, activations, and meetings. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute PR campaigns that align with ALIGNE’s vision and marketing goals. Elevate the brand’s profile by securing features, interviews, placements and commercial opportunities. Build strong relationships with editors, journalists, and influencers to drive awareness and community growth. Plan and execute seasonal press launches, brand activations, and community moments—minimum 2 campaigns per season. Lead PR efforts to support and optimise brand partnerships, ensuring alignment and impactful activations. Oversee the execution of US partnerships to maximise visibility and ROI. Manage all PR budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to deliver measurable results. Spearhead all PR efforts around the US pop-up (April – July), creating excitement and engagement. Oversee UK execution via the PR Executive, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and performance oversight. Develop and maintain a database of top-tier press, editors, and influencers across the US and UK. Foster relationships with content creators, influencers, and community leaders to amplify ALIGNE’s presence. Develop and execute influencer strategies—including identification, outreach, management, and performance tracking. Represent ALIGNE confidently at press meetings, interviews, and events. Track performance through weekly and monthly reporting, highlighting coverage, reach, and impact. Ensure all press enquiries are responded to quickly and effectively. Continuously assess opportunities to grow ALIGNE’s visibility and influence with emphasis on the US market. The Ideal Candidate: 5+ years of PR experience in fashion, lifestyle, or luxury brands, with proven results in the US. Established relationships with editors, journalists, influencers and VIPs in the US. Confident, proactive, and results-driven—able to lead strategy while staying hands-on. Experienced in delivering high-impact campaigns, activations, and partnerships. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Collaborative, with proven leadership skills and experience managing teams. Experienced in influencer and partnership strategies, including long-term relationship-building and execution. Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with commercial and marketing teams. Passionate about fashion with a focus on purpose-driven storytelling and impact. Flexible and ready to travel for key events and activations as needed.
