Celeste Group, a premier hospitality collective in Chicago, is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Coordinator to support its innovative restaurant and nightlife concepts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing engaging event activations, implementing grassroots marketing strategies, fostering community relationships, and managing an up-to-date event calendar to drive sales growth and enhance the atmosphere across the group's venues.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Activations
Plan, coordinate, and execute innovative and engaging events that attract and retain guests. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events across various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and in-venue promotions. Occasionally support event activations at new or high-profile events, ensuring alignment with brand standards. Work with vendors, entertainers, and other third parties to ensure seamless event execution across all locations. Grassroots Distribution
Develop and implement grassroots marketing strategies focused on increasing brand awareness and attracting new patrons. Distribute promotional materials throughout the community and leverage local networks to maximize reach. Identify and participate in community events and opportunities that align with the brand and target audience of each venue. Community and Relationship Building
Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, influencers, and community organizations to foster partnerships and collaborations. Engage with patrons and community members to create a positive and welcoming environment. Serve as a brand ambassador at local events and networking functions to represent the group's concepts. Monthly Calendar Management
Ensure each venue's event calendar is consistently updated with a balanced mix of major events, themed nights, and filler events. Coordinate with each concept’s team to integrate key events into the overall marketing calendar as needed. Collaborate with the design team to create promotional materials for all events. Develop filler events that drive traffic and sales during off-peak times. Analyze event performance and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Work closely with the sales team to develop promotions and packages that enhance event profitability. Marketing and Promotions
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and manage social media content and campaigns for each venue as needed. Help develop email marketing campaigns to keep patrons informed about upcoming events and promotions. Assist the Creative Director with PR agency coordination to secure coverage for major events and promotions across all concepts. Qualifications: Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or a related field, preferably within the nightlife or hospitality industry. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Skills:
Strong organizational skills, creativity, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency with social media platforms and marketing tools. Attributes:
