The role of the European Visual Office (EVO) team is to provide guidance, coordination, and leadership on behalf of our HQ in Suwon and in support of our subsidiaries across Europe. The team works closely with our internal partners and is the central team driving the localization of the global sales and marketing strategy for our TV/AV business.

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

eStore

  1. Drive the eStore sales strategy for TV/AV through close collaboration with EO/HQ/subs.
  2. Lead Monthly Committee Forum presenting important metrics, successful strategies, and growth initiatives to support eStore targets.
  3. Be the main central PIC to own the Online GTM strategy delivering YoY growth in our Pre-order quantities, ensuring alignment of premium execution across EU.
  4. Create a European online promotional roadmap for local execution working closely with the PM and Marketing Teams to mitigate risks in the MP.
  5. Improve the visibility of crucial metrics such as revenue, mix, conversion, and traffic. Analyze monthly performance and compare it to targets.
  6. Collaborate with Marketing teams to ensure that all central initiatives are visible to subsidiaries.

Pure Players/Amazon

  1. Support QBRs and strategic discussions with Amazon including subsidiary KAMs to ensure Pan EU Amazon PICs aligned on growth opportunities and initiatives.
  2. Improve visibility of critical metrics with the assistance of a junior team member.
  3. Implement the European Joint Business Plan in collaboration with local teams.
  4. Drive alignment in local promotional and commercial plans across countries as required.

Other

  1. Lead all aspects of the evaluation of competitor strategies and performance within channels.
  2. Have a consolidated central overview of total and online market forecast.
  3. Support and mentor junior member of the team during yearly placement.
  4. Analyze subsidiary progress and results, present findings to Samsung leadership.
  5. Coordinate detailed yearly strategy decks to be presented with a clear vision for the coming year.

What we need for this role

  1. Proven experience in a commercial role – ideally in a multi-cultural / Pan-European environment.
  2. In-depth knowledge of critical metrics that impact performance.
  3. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to evaluate numbers to make commercially valid proposals.
  4. Strong communication skills; confidence in delivering presentations.
  5. Networking with various international cultures and strong management skills.
  6. Being self-motivated; can work well independently but also cooperates well with others.

The interview process

A two-stage process:

  1. First stage will be a competency-based interview, with line manager Michael Wakefield (Commercial Lead).
  2. Second stage is a presentation based on a defined task and data set.
