Are you a writer who loves to code? Are you excited about diving deep into AI concepts and helping customers adopt generative AI technology? The Technical Content Experience (TCX) group, also known as AWS Documentation, is looking for a programmer writer to support Amazon AI services. These services include Amazon SageMaker, which is our flagship machine learning service, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon Q, and this role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies.

Ideally, you have both a technical background that enables easy interaction with software developers and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation. This is an opportunity to explain complex information concisely. You will become part of a customer-obsessed, dynamic team of talented, geographically distributed, highly technical communicators. Join us on our journey to provide high-quality documentation and code examples to our customers!

Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Author and deliver high-quality conceptual and procedural content, API reference documentation, and code examples.
  2. Develop, negotiate, and drive content strategy in alignment with product strategy and Amazon content guidelines.
  3. Work with customer feedback, use website and content engagement data, and direct your analysis and insights into improving content performance and strategy.
  4. Advocate for optimal customer experiences, dive deep to develop domain expertise, and function as the first customer for your products.
  5. Work with other writers to improve how we write, hire and develop talent, and identify and drive opportunities to boost team efficiency.
