The Graphic Designer will report directly to the Senior Director, Creative Services, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to create design solutions that have a high visual impact and properly represent U.S. Polo Assn. and its sub brands to our licensees and consumers. The Graphic Designer will also provide graphic design support to the internal departments of USPA Global. Design projects will include, but not limited to: print advertising, logo creation, email communications, digital banners/graphics, presentations, and store signage. The Graphic Designer will demonstrate creativity,
up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to constructive criticism, budget constraints and deadlines.

Responsibilities
•Support USPA Global, its Licensees, the brand U.S. Polo Assn. and its sub brands by conceptualizing, designing and producing eye-catching visual solutions in all forms of print and digital assets while adhering to print and digital production specs and brand standards
•Manage creative project timelines and resources to ensure on-time delivery and execution
•Develop assets with a keen eye for typography, layout and attention to detail while keeping the end use of each asset in mind, whether it be digital or print.
•Develop logos and illustrations using appropriate software
•Uphold brand standards across all creative deliverables
•Assist the Marketing team in developing and executing comprehensive brand and marketing strategies
•Interpret marketing and creative briefs to produce visual assets that align with USPAGL's business objectives
•Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across different teams to create content plans and ensure deadlines are met
•Conduct market research and gather information and materials/graphics/photos needed from appropriate individuals/sources to accomplish tasks
•Develop and maintain design templates for use in digital and print communications, documents and presentations
•Present creative concepts, design rationales and effectively communicate the strategic thinking behind visual decisions to both creative and non-creative audiences
•Stay informed of industry trends, technology innovations and competitors' presence.
•Manage digital delivery and print production
•Handle minor retouching and resizing/cropping of images when necessary
•Display problem-solving skills to address and solve problems that arise
•Assist with organizing and planning photo shoots when necessary
•Assist and attend photo shoots as needed
•Provide photo retouching assistance as needed
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related field preferred.
•7-10 years of experience in areas of graphic design, marketing and/or advertising.
•Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite on Mac OS platform. Specifically: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Bridge. Working knowledge of After Effects is a plus
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams and Google suite of software. Specifically: Slides and Sheets
•Must submit a strong portfolio that clearly demonstrates digital and print design work and be able to speak clearly to their role in the examples of work provided.
•Able to create and execute of a broad array of visual communication pieces
•Able to prepare files for a variety of print applications like large scale signage and magazine or newspaper ads
•Proven skills in typography, layout hierarchy, composition, color theory, and information design
•Able to pitch creative ideas and participate in ideation and brainstorming sessions
•Has a positive attitude with a willingness to learn, grow and ask questions
•Has strong time-management skills, able to be flexible and open to changing priorities and
tight deadlines
•A team player who is also able to work independently and take initiative
•Comfortable with and receptive to constructive criticism; able to address feedback quickly
and accurately
•Strong attention to detail and able to proofread to ensure accurate and high-quality work
•Maintain archives and accurate filing systems for all projects
•Willing to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with reasonable notice
•Has superior written and verbal communication. Copywriting skills are a plus
•Has highly developed interpersonal skills and able to partner with various levels of leadership within the organization
