Advantage Tech is seeking Voice User Interface Designers for a long-term contract opportunity supporting the development and modernization of IVR systems and conversational AI voice bots. This remote role operates on Central Standard Time and requires team members who are highly collaborative, engaged, and proactive contributors to the success of the project.

Your Job

As a Voice User Interface Designer, you will work on the re-engineering of IVR systems, transitioning from legacy platforms to cloud-based AI solutions. You'll design and implement conversational AI voice bots, contribute to call flow designs, and collaborate on the integration of technologies like Amazon Lex, Genesys, and Verint for enhanced work management and customer experience. This role will also involve participating in frequent team meetings to ensure alignment and proactive problem-solving.

The Work

  • Design and develop conversational AI voice bots for IVR systems using tools like Amazon Lex.
  • Re-engineer and modernize legacy IVR systems, transitioning them to cloud-based AI solutions.
  • Create and optimize call flow designs for efficient call routing and improved customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with team members on the integration of Genesys Cloud, Verint, and AWS technologies for seamless operation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business goals and are delivered on time.
  • Contribute to the company's planned expansion into AI Chat solutions.
  • Attend and actively participate in frequent team meetings, contributing to a collaborative and engaging environment.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience designing IVR systems and conversational AI voice bots.
  • Familiarity with legacy IVR platforms and the ability to transition systems to modern, cloud-based solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Amazon Lex, Genesys Cloud, and Verint solutions.
  • Strong understanding of call flow design and AI voice technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Experience working in AWS environments and leveraging cloud technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Ability to work on Central Standard Time and engage in frequent meetings.
Nice to Have
  • Experience designing chatbot solutions in addition to voice bots.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements when implementing AI-driven customer service solutions.
  • Familiarity with user experience design principles for voice and chat interfaces.
