The Mechanical Designer will provide mechanical/HVAC design services on a variety of commercial building projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mechanical technical drafting and design on assigned projects
- Assist in the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) for new buildings and for renovations and additions to existing facilities
- Perform quality control process relative to project responsibilities on assigned projects
- Perform initial site investigations and observations of work done by the installing contractor(s) related to contracted projects
- Provide coordination of project designs with other disciplines
- Maintain assigned project schedules
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships
- Additional duties as assigned

- Ductwork layouts, wiring diagrams, equipment schedules
- Related building and mechanical codes

- Completion of a high school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED)
- Proficient in the use of Autodesk Revit
- Two (2) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in mechanical design
- Basic proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Four (4) years of experience in HVAC/plumbing design in the MEP field
- Advanced proficiency in the use of Revit
