About You:
We are looking for our next team member to join the Icelandic Glacial marketing team, leading shopper marketing efforts for the brand. The Shopper Marketing Manager will identify and execute shopper marketing tactics to support our key account partners and drive retail purchase of the brand. The position will report to the Director of Marketing and will maintain strong cross-functional relationships with the brand marketing and sales teams. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an agile environment managing multiple projects at once. Candidates should have the ability to manage workload in an ever-changing environment to deliver exceptional results, using initiative to solve challenges rapidly and creatively. Things You’ll Do: Develop impactful best-in-class omni-shopper marketing campaign strategies for priority accounts, following through to execution. End-to-end campaign management and post-launch evaluation of activities. Work hand in hand with the brand marketing team to develop shopper marketing extensions of all brand campaigns. Build out annual shopper marketing calendar including programming, incentives, point-of-sale materials, and media support. Lead customer presentations and drive regular contact with key accounts. Present compelling insight-led shopper marketing plans with conviction that align with Icelandic Glacial and retailer strategies. Support leadership in planning of annual budget and shopper marketing strategy. Promote a ‘shopper first’ mindset across the business and consider the shopper in every business decision. Effectively interpret all available industry, category, customer, and shopper data (i.e. target occasions, missions, customers, channels, and shopper segments) and translate it into a clear set of prioritized opportunities for Icelandic Glacial. Build effective and rewarding internal & external stakeholder relationships. What It Takes: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus. 3-5 years of experience in marketing at an established CPG or FMG company, preferably with a focus on shopper, trade, or customer marketing. Strong understanding of the CPG industry and market dynamics. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Creative problem solver who is an expert at rolling up your sleeves and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Natural self-starter, comfortable taking the lead with limited resources while still achieving strong results. An understanding of how to read and interpret shopper and consumer data.
