Location: Los Angeles, CA or New York City, NY
HYBRID: 2 days in office, 3 days work from home
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 DOE + $5k Performance Bonus + (Performance Raise to $70k after 1 yr)

Job Description
Our client in the advertising industry is looking for a Hybrid Junior Media Buyer to add to their team in Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY. In this role, you will work closely with account managers and senior media professionals to execute targeted media strategies and negotiate cost-effective rates for audio advertising campaigns. You will leverage media research tools to enhance buying strategies, plan and execute targeted audio advertising campaigns, negotiate competitive rates, and manage client budgets to drive measurable results. Ideal candidates will have a passion for audio advertising and be motivated to grow their career. To be successful, you must have experience working in an advertising agency and hands-on experience with media buying software. Responsibilities
- Manage media campaigns across direct response, traditional, and network platforms
- Strategize and execute media buys to maximize ROI and client goals
- Negotiate remnant and traditional audio spot and network rates
- Utilize media buying software (e.g., Strata) to allocate and optimize budgets
- Reconcile station invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with account managers to establish campaign KPIs and client goals
- Track budgets and performance, delivering clear, actionable client reporting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners
Qualifications
- 1+ years of direct response, Traditional, and Network buying experience required
- 1+ years of Agency experience required
- Proficiency with media buying software and analytics tools required
