Summary
The UX/UI Designer will have a strong foundation in design principles, a passion for creativity, and a willingness to learn. As a UX/UI Designer, you will support the marketing team and other departments in creating visually appealing and effective designs across the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Analyze and interpret research data to create personas and user journey maps.
- Create wireframes to conceptualize design solutions.
- Develop interactive prototypes that illustrate design interactions and user flows.
- Design visually appealing and consistent UI elements, including buttons, icons, typography, and layouts.
- Ensure designs align with company branding and visual identity guidelines.
- Focus on user-centered design principles to create intuitive and efficient navigation, interaction, and content structure.
- Conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement in designs and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
- Design marketing materials, and other graphic content to support the brand and marketing plans.
- Work on creating cohesive visuals for digital products and marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent use of typography, colors and branding elements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and technical constraints.
- Communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and approval.
- Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback, data, and testing.
- Stay updated on UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies to ensure cutting-edge design solutions.
- Other duties assigned by the Director of Corporate Brand.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design process and outcomes
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
- Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices, interaction design, and user-centered design principles
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and responsive design frameworks is a plus
- Experience in graphic design for print and other marketing materials a plus
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while staying organized
- Must be flexible to accommodate changes in business strategies
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
- Must be trustworthy and dependable
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This position will work in the corporate office and the field exposed to all weather elements.
- This position may require some travel.
- Hours of work include but are not limited to the current hours of operation. The current hours of operation are 7 days a week, 7:30 am-9:00 pm, closing only on December 25th. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- Must be able to maintain a flexible full-time schedule including working in the evenings and on weekends if needed.
