Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer will contribute to our company mission by creating visually compelling assets that enhance our brand presence across carious platforms. The designer will utilize their creativity and technical expertise to support our marketing and communications efforts, helping to communicate our commitment to excellence and community engagement.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

•None

Duties/Responsibilities:

•Develops and updates communication branding templates and guidelines.

•Provides design support for employees and external presentations, including speaking engagements.

•Works on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals.

•Obtains input from managers to ensure designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, accurately expressing ideas and representing the company or client appropriately.

•Works independently as well as cooperatively to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include managing five or more simultaneous projects.

•Examines existing processes, identifies flaws, and creates solutions to improve design capabilities.

•Updates and maintains internal databases for designs, photography, and video.

•Develops branding for external events and sponsorships.

•Manages photo and logo galleries, including refreshing images.

•Drives creative strategy for videos and maintains the video library.

•Develops and updates formatting and content for internal and external websites; participates in the development of joint venture websites.

•Assists in creating content for social media posts.

•Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

•Advanced knowledge of current graphic design software, preferably Adobe Creative Design Suite.

•Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.

•Excellent communication and presentation skills.

•Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

•Desire to continue building skill set with education and training.

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively engage with team members of all levels and across departments.

•Strong attention to detail and ability to implement decisions.

•Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software.

Education and Experience:

•Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline

•5+ years of professional design experience

•Diverse portfolio of graphic design work

Certifications:

•None required

Travel:

Travel required locally or long-distance up to 20% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.

Equipment:

Computer, computer software programs and peripherals, resource materials and equipment, copier, fax, and other equipment applicable to the position.

Mental and Physical Demands:

General office and sedentary. Regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Walking, standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing; occasional: lifting/carrying, pulling/pushing up to 30 pounds.

Maintain emotional control under stress, work with interruptions and deadlines.

May work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Environmental Factors:

Occasional exposure to biological hazards (communicable diseases, bacteria, insects, mold, fungi, etc.). Occasional exposure to weather related conditions when working in an outdoor environment.
