LDF continues to make an impact in the area of public service and was recognized by Fast Company as one of its 2023 Brands That Matter under its public service category.LDF operates in a hybrid work environment where employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of two days per week, unless otherwise indicated.ResponsibilitiesManage and grow the organization's social media presence across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, and Bluesky.Engage on social accounts, respond to comments and direct messages to foster engagement and build community relationships.Monitor and manage social media accounts for brand consistency and adherence to organizational values and priorities.Manage content production for all LDF social media accounts.Generate content ideas and create content based on the priority issue areas and cases of LDF that are geared toward LDF's audiences across social platforms.Develop and schedule content calendars for all organizational accounts.Use designated social media accounts as a vehicle for disseminating rapid response content. This includes intermittent work outside of normal work hours.Collaborate with other members of the Digital and Communications team to ensure alignment between social media and other communications efforts.Benchmark social media data against peer organizations and industry standards.Occasional travel to support content creation opportunities.QualificationsBachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, English or LDF-relevant field.3-5 years work experience as a Social Media Strategist or Social Media Manager.Experience using social media for brand awareness.Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.Experience with graphic design, photo and video content creation and editing.Ability to identify target audiences' preferences and produce tailored content.Excellent multitasking skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts or requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
