Salary: $120-145K DOE
One of our financial services and technology clients is looking for a Senior Public Relations Manager to join their team for an exciting full-time position.
This Senior Public Relations Manager will be responsible for developing PR strategy and leading the execution of media relations campaigns that tell compelling/engaging stories focused on the brand's exciting service offerings, technology and innovation, and high-profile brand campaigns, sponsorships, and partnerships.
The Senior Public Relations Manager will leverage their media relations experience to find the right ways to tell these stories in new and creative ways, and must have national public relations experience as well as proven experience delivering creative PR strategies.
Ideal Senior Public Relations Manager candidates will have:
- At least 7-10years of public relations, media relations, or corporate marketing/communications related experience
- BA degree in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field
- Fully proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Proven experience developing press releases and initiating conversations/relationships with national media reporters/partners
- Must be a strong communicator, confident presenter, and comfortable interfacing with C-Suite leaders
- Must have national public relations and media relations experience, well-versed in what is required when working with large media distribution partners
Job Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement media relations programs
- Initiate and maintain relationships with national and local media and industry analysts
- Develop, write and present story ideas to reporters and editors
- Plan and manage participation in press tours, conferences and events
- Coordinate speaking engagements
- Work independently with executive leadership
- Oversee large, critically impactful projects for the organization
*Hybrid onsite schedule required(onsite Tues/Wed/Thurs, with occasional Mon/Fri as needed)
