A strategically important part of our charter is to help SMB brand owners establish their brands, grow familiarity among new audiences, and build for long-term growth through our suite of self-service advertising products (Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Brand Stores, and Sponsored TV). Our team is tasked with building scaled marketing programs that increase awareness of our ad solutions while solving for key customer pain points that accelerate product adoption and ensure advertiser success across products. We are looking for a high performing Marketing Manager who will own the development and execution of our cross-channel marketing strategy to accelerate growth among existing advertisers through adoption of multiple formats and building towards a full-funnel advertising strategy. In this role, your marketing programs and campaigns will help SMB brand owners overcome barriers to growth and ensure our advertiser customers have access to easily discoverable educational content that builds best practices and advertiser success across our solutions. The ideal candidate can think strategically and execute flawlessly. You will bring your proven creative, analytical and project management capabilities to imagine, plan, implement and optimize compelling campaigns that drive advertiser success and growth on Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, willing to work autonomously, and handle multiple initiatives simultaneously. If you are data-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating customized experiences through marketing automation, with an interest to own your marketing strategy end to end, this is a great role for you. Experience working directly with sellers, in either a retail or advertising capacity, is welcomed. Key job responsibilities - Define our overall marketing strategy to grow the success of existing Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display advertisers. - Own end-to-end campaign management from ideation to execution and measurement. - Audit existing content and identify gaps in content assets. - Create on-brand, best in class content, tailored to appropriate customers and effectively build acquisition campaigns. - Work across Marketing Managers, Content Creators, Designers, Program Managers, and business leadership to align channel initiatives with cross-functional team goals. - Analyze, report on, and optimize against key performance metrics. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3-5 years of professional non-internship marketing experience. - Experience using Excel or Tableau to extract data and insights to drive campaign optimizations. - A proven track record of owning marketing strategies that directly impact business goals. - Experience building and executing on cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential for conveying marketing messages and collaborating with teams. - Bachelor's degree. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience building scaled B2B marketing campaigns (specifically experience in email marketing and/or in-portal notifications). - SQL knowledge for data analysis, as a plus. - Demonstrated capacity to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities of a rapidly evolving business. - Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers). - Strong drive for results with the ability to manage independently. - Ambitious self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
