Job Title: Piping Designer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: Contract (1 – 3 months)

The ideal candidate will have CAD Admin / project configuration experience in addition to drafting/designing/modeling experience.

All of the work will be done within AutoCAD Plant 3D.

1. AutoCAD and Plant 3D project configuration
2. PFD drafting
3. Smart P&ID configuration/drafting
4. Plot plan development
5. 3D modeling

Role Overview

As a Piping Designer at the client’s, you will lead the configuration of projects in AutoCAD Plant 3D, develop best practices and workflows for drafting and modeling, and support drafting and modeling activities from conceptual engineering through to detailed design.

What You’ll Do

1. Configure new projects in AutoCAD Plant 3D
2. Setup the Data Manager and Smart P&IDs
3. Draft process flow diagrams (PFDs)
4. Configure and draft smart piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
5. Develop and draft plot plans
6. Define requirements for third party 3D equipment models and P&IDs to integrate into Mariana Minerals hosted AutoCAD Plant 3D environment

What You’ll Bring

1. 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D
2. CAD admin experience
3. 2D drafting experience. PFDs, P&IDs, Plot Plans, etc.
4. 3D modeling experience. Piping design, isometric, etc.
