We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with extensive experience in Cryptographic Product Modernization (CryptoMod) initiatives. The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of Key Management Infrastructure and will spearhead the analysis and design of innovative solutions to fill gaps identified in the updated Crypto Mod ICD.

Position Responsibilities:
Define and implement systems engineering processes to analyze alternatives and propose effective solutions that fulfill customer requirements.
Collect data on specific missions and service needs, contributing to the development of infrastructure and end cryptographic unit specifications.
Develop System Architecture, CONOPS, and use case scenarios utilizing systems engineering methodologies.
Oversee requirements management, including decomposition, allocation, verification, and validation, to support future development and testing teams.
Lead and engage in discussions during internal and customer meetings.

Required Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance post-hire.
Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 10+ years of relevant experience.
Expertise in Cryptographic Technologies:
Profound knowledge of HAIPE, EDE CIS, and similar technologies. Familiarity with DoD Protocols:
Understanding of dynamic discovery processes and security protocols utilized within DoD networks. Understanding of Vendor Roadmaps:
Insight into vendor roadmaps for discovery technologies to ensure alignment with contemporary industry trends. Proficient in Cryptographic Modernization 2 Operational Management:
Familiarity with Configuration Management practices based on NETCONF/RESTCONF and YANG modeling for optimized network management. Strong Analytical Skills:
Ability to decipher complex security requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions. Desired Qualifications: Experience in computing and related technologies, including: Software development methodologies, such as TDD and peer programming Languages like C/C++, C#, and Java Software security and quality evaluation tools Configuration Management tools like PVCS, Git, and SVN Scripting languages like Python and shell scripting Collaboration tools such as MatterMost and Teams Web server configurations with NGINX, JBoss/Wildfly, and Apache Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence frameworks including deep learning, ANN, CNN, and tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow Experience with database design and management, including SQL Familiarity with CI environments (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab-CI) Understanding of Cryptographic Key Management practices, including EKMS and KMI.
