Vitamix is seeking a Digital Design Intern to help support the Creative Team with the design and execution of a variety of quick requests to understand marketing needs including Social, Banners, Layout, flyers, image cropping and more.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • What you’ll do:
    • Actively communicate with cross-functional partners to understand the strategy and deliverables, and articulate creative thinking behind the design decisions
    • Assist in design and execution in a variety of quick requests to understand marketing needs: Social, Banners, layout, flyers, image cropping, and more.
    • Manage and Build out a digital Brand Guideline refresh project
  • Captivate our audience with design that elevates visual appearance and ensures brand coherence
  • Work within our brand guidelines to create layouts that promote Vitamix style and voice through visual touch points
  • Earn a respected place within a small, high-performing, high-impact team by producing quality work quickly
  • Take direction from our Creative Manager on a variety of projects, and demonstrate your value by contributing to team discussions around vision, ideation, design, and execution
  • Lead a Brand Guidelines Digital project to implement new guidelines to our digital tool. Present additional components to the Marketing team at the conclusion of the internship program.


The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Knowledge of Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Premier, After Effects)
  • Solid presentation skills
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for detail, typography, layout, and composition across both digital and print
  • A knowledge of graphic design best practices
  • Highly collaborative and works well cross-functionally
  • Possesses and displays excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information in a clear, focused and concise manner
  • Demonstrated ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all levels of employees in a team-oriented environment
  • High level of professionalism and maturity
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks on time and to required specifications in a high-pressure environment
  • Junior or Senior Student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Creative Marketing or related field
