As an assistant to the chief marketing officer (CMO), you will provide administrative support in a department and university-wide capacity. Your efficient management of the CMO’s workflow, communications, and calendar will directly contribute to the smooth operation of the CMO's office. You will work to appropriately prioritize appointments, resolve conflicts, and organize office operating procedures.

In this position, you will conduct research for reports, field high-level requests for documents, and coordinate meetings with confidentiality. You will also approve purchase, travel, and reimbursement requests. You will be responsible for the management of time-off requests and approvals, general office duties — including work order submissions, supply orders, and office machine maintenance requests — and communication with internal and external stakeholders. You will inform the CMO of project statuses while they are out of the office and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues. Additionally, you will run official errands in support of university functions to assist the CMO with special projects. The successful candidate demonstrates outstanding communication, customer service, and organizational skills. A keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks concurrently is essential. The candidate must also thrive in independent work and team-oriented environments. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite At least two years of related professional experience Professional experience in managing confidential matters Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver’s license Travel required: Less than 10% Work Hours:
