Majic Productions is a sound, video, and lighting production company that specializes in creative and custom events. Production Technicians are crucial team members and will have great attitudes towards peers and clients, are great problem solvers, and can handle the excitement and stress of a live event. Candidate must be willing to work with initial event design, set-up, live events, and take down.
Requirements High school diploma or GED Demonstrate a willingness to learn Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record Safely operate all fleet vehicles necessary for transportation, pickup, and delivery of production equipment Must be comfortable working from heights (ladders and lifts) Ability to lift 50 lbs routinely Ability to work standing for long periods of time, nights and weekends required Minimum one year of audio-visual production experience
Warehouse responsibilities Follow all direction given by warehouse managers Quality control procedures Loading and unloading of vehicles as necessary Maintain a clean and safe working environment Pull equipment, both individually and as part of a team
Onsite responsibilities Provide excellent customer service Set up, run and strike audio, video, lighting equipment and scenic elements Effectively communicate with coworker and clients Uphold Majic Productions standard of workmanship and workplace safety at all times Maintain a professional appearance at all times
Equipment knowledge - must know one field below
Basic understanding of cables used in audio, lighting, video, and power distribution Audio system Knowledge of analog and digital consoles Knowledge of ground supported and flown audio systems Wireless microphone management
Video system Knowledge of video switching Content management (PPT, video files, graphics) Setup screens, projectors, monitors and cameras Streaming equipment
Lighting system Conventional and LED fixtures DMX and proper addressing of fixtures Intelligent lighting programming
Rigging experience is a plus
