About this role

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our Revenue, Sales and Marketing Team. This role will work cross-departmentally to support the success of marketing activities onsite at the attraction by assisting with the planning, development and execution of marketing initiatives, building consumer engagement, driving guest visits, and growing ancillary revenue streams.

To ensure success, the ideal candidate is detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of marketing techniques with a keen interest in providing a consistent brand voice across all marketing activities to specific audiences.

The wage for this role is $55,000.00-60,000.00 base salary; details of the total compensation package will be discussed during the interview process.

What will you do in this job?

What will you do in this role? Support the development and execution of Flyover's annual and seasonal marketing plans, including promotions and activations. Lead the production of marketing assets such as on-site signage, sales tools, sales collateral, print/digital advertisements, eblasts, and website updates. Work closely with the project management team to roadmap creative projects and build out briefings. Support the development, management, and optimization of Flyover's regional partner relationships and contracts, including affiliates such as hotel partners and sightseeing companies. Develop marketing plans targeting B2B audiences, including affiliates, school groups, corporate events, and other leisure groups. Support the Flyover Attractions social media and content marketing teams by collecting content in the form of photos, videos, and live video, as well as identifying new content opportunities and managing social media channels. Host in-market media, bloggers, influencers, and high-profile guests as required. Contribute to the planning and execution of events, including promotions, activations, and community outreach initiatives. Support the brand ambassador program by organizing and coordinating events while ensuring alignment with marketing objectives. Compile performance reports and collaborate with the Marketing and Brand Experience Manager to turn data into actionable insights. Understand and assist in managing the Flyover in Chicago marketing budget, including creating purchase orders and submitting invoices for payment. Other duties and projects as assigned. What skills and experience do you need for this job?

Ideal experience and skills

A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Marketing or Communications role; preferably in hospitality, restaurants, theatres, hotels, theme parks or resort environments Bachelor's degree or diploma in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, or journalism required Ability to work independently, stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to execute strategies and tactics Experience leading projects from conception to implementation and evaluation. Proficiency in computer skills required, including MS Office, Adobe CS suite, digital marketing, Sharepoint and Asana Excellent understanding of social media best practices

You hang suspended, feet dangling, before a 20-metre spherical screen while our film whisks you away on an exhilarating journey across some of the world's most iconic landscapes. Special effects, including wind, mist and scents, combine with the ride's motion to create an unforgettable experience. Currently, there are Flyover's located in Vancouver, B.C., Reykjavik, Iceland, Las Vegas, Nevada and Chicago, Illinois. Several future Flyover locations are proposed and are in the development stage.
