As a Senior Graphics Software Developer, you'll be at the leading edge of technology, working on critical training systems like the CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer. You will create real-time, three-dimensional graphics systems including simulations for submarine periscopes, submarine bridges, and ship weapons. This cutting-edge visual simulation will be utilized across various naval training environments. All software is developed in a Linux setting, primarily using C++ and OpenGL, along with the Unreal graphics engine and other software packages.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in areas such as cluster computing, signal processing, Kubernetes, numerical simulation, multi-threading, GPUs, data visualization, underwater acoustic modeling, or sonar systems.

Required Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

  • Citizenship: U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance (Interim Secret clearance required upon employment).

  • Skills: Minimum of 12 years in developing graphics applications, primarily using C++ and the Unreal graphics engine, strong Linux proficiency, and experience in game programming or 3D graphics development.

Preferred Experience

  • Education: Advanced degree, ongoing education in computer science, or a strong background in math/physics.

  • Skills: Familiarity with high-performance computing, graphics hardware, GPU internals, or development for Virtual Reality headsets.

  • Tools: Experience with OpenSceneGraph, 3DS Max, Maya, Photoshop, or similar modeling tools.

Pay Range: Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
