Job Title: Digital Media Content Creator + Manager (Part-Time Contractor)

Position Summary:

LYH Women in Business is seeking a creative and results-oriented Digital Media Content Creator to support the creative planning and execution of our annual Galentine's Day event. This role will be crucial in developing and designing on-brand engaging social media content and marketing materials to effectively promote the event and drive attendance.

Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

1. Develop compelling social media content (text, images, videos) across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, potentially others) to promote the Galentine's Day event.
2. Design eye-catching graphics and marketing materials (flyers, posters, website banners) for both digital and print use.
3. Work with our Marketing Director and Co-Founders to finalize and execute creative campaign ideas to increase event awareness and engagement.
4. Create and deploy all business partner posts to successfully fulfill each partner obligation.

Social Media Management:

1. Schedule and publish social media posts across all relevant platforms.
2. Monitor and engage with followers on social media, responding to comments and messages.
3. Track and analyze social media metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.

Event Support:

1. Create a shot-list for our event and be on-site to post during the event and capture pictures and short video clips for future marketing material. Event is Thursday, February 13 from 6-9 PM.
2. Work closely with LYH Women in Business co-founders to align content with event goals and overall brand identity.
3. Provide weekly progress reports to co-founders.
4. Communicate via Voxer with Co-Founders and Event Coordinator.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in social media marketing and content creation.
2. Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
5. Passion for supporting women in business and a strong understanding of the target audience.
6. Experience with social media analytics tools (we use Databox).
7. Position Type: Part-time, contract (5 weeks)
8. Hours per Week: 10 hours
9. Reporting: Report directly to LYH Women in Business co-founders.

Compensation: $750 for 5 Week Engagement at 50 hours total
