Summary of Position
The Coordinator, International Sales & Licensing, MPG will support the President, Global Film Sales, Motion Picture Group. This position requires a talented individual who will handle a variety of administrative duties in support of the International Group and will play an important part during major film markets and festivals (Berlin Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, Toronto Film Festival, and American Film Market).
Responsibilities
- Administrative support to President, Global Film Sales, Motion Picture Group (calendar, call sheet, expense reports, booking domestic/international travel, etc.)
- Participate in weekly sales team meetings & departmental calls
- Tracking script log and organizing department weekend read
- Read and provide script feedback
- Creating presentations for department and client meetings
- Building film projections and producer reports
- Support the team in the creation of sales materials for film markets
- Responsible for coordinating script mailings to clients throughout the year and before each film market
- Develop and organize the Market Book for the President before each film market
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an administrative capacity for an executive within the entertainment industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Power Point and Keynote (Mac) is required
- Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in execution of assigned tasks
- Ability to work overtime on a needed basis
- Proficiency in a second language is preferred but not required
- Must be dependable and a proactive team player
- Must be punctual and personable
- Enthusiastic, flexible and resourceful
