Equifax is hiring a Mobile UX/UI Designer (intermediate level) to support a new Mobile App program. In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional team to bring products and assets from an idea all the way to an end user. This is a great opportunity for professional development in UX/UI design and a great opportunity to refine your skills. With consumer insights, you'll have the opportunity to get actionable feedback based on user studies and on larger quantitative data. You’ll develop a deep understanding of consumer credit and how it functions within the market. You will contribute to products and assets with high visibility in the marketplace, earning tens of millions of impressions every year. You will make meaningful contributions to the D2C ecosystem of products and you’ll be a part of conversations that shape how consumers perceive Equifax’s rapidly growing D2C business from a user experience and design standpoint. This role will involve close collaboration with digital experience and product managers to problem solve and develop solutions together.

  • This position does not offer immigration sponsorship or support, including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.

  • This position is based in Atlanta. This resource should be local to Atlanta and will be required to work from the following Equifax office location - Midtown will be highly preferred / Alpharetta is considered a secondary location for this role.

  • Corporate Return To Office expectations: Onsite weekly requirements (each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

What you will do

  • Design assets, interfaces, and components for Equifax’s new consumer iOS/Android app.

  • Work with D2C marketing leaders to create cross-platform assets for use on Equifax public webpages, landing pages, remarketing, and D2C advertising campaigns.

  • Champion Equifax's global design system by contributing to its evolution and ensuring consistent, high-quality design implementation across all D2C products. Serve as a resource for other designers, providing guidance and best practices on utilizing the system effectively.

  • Participate in design and brand collaborations within the D2C organizations and with other business units within the company.

  • Work with the digital experience team to refine designs to meet Equifax’s legal, regulatory, and compliance standards.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and come to the table with fresh ideas and be on a team with the resources to make them happen.

  • Play an active role as a digital expert to help inform the business and develop company-wide perspectives on trends and the use of emerging digital media in the marketplace.

  • Work with engineering and digital experience stakeholders to ensure designs are implemented properly.

  • Participate in consumer insights studies to leverage real consumer feedback to improve design assets and strategies.

What experience you will need

  • BA/BS in Interaction Design or an equivalent UX related discipline.

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a UX designer in related fields such as Human Factors, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or Product Design.

  • Must be able to provide an online design portfolio of work.

  • Experience will include working with UX/UI design for iOS, Android apps, and app stores.

  • Must have a strong understanding of UX, CX, mobile app, and interaction design principles and practices.

  • Must have a strong understanding of how people use their devices and have the flexibility to adapt to new technologies.

  • Will have familiarity with designing with Accessibility guidelines (WCAG).

  • Experience in the use of design software is required. Must include Figma but would set you apart if you also have experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
