Barry's is the Best Workout in the WorldTM®. Founded in West Hollywood in 1998, it's the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that's as effective as it is fun. Our fitness classes alternate between working out with weights and running on a treadmill. Each day focuses on a different muscle group in order to achieve real results and to prevent injuries. Our program is designed to tone muscle and maximize fat loss, while spiking the metabolism for up to 48 hours following the class.

About the role

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the ongoing performance, optimization and personalization roadmap across Barry's website and digital media programs. To excel in this position, you'll need to craft robust content maintenance and test-and-learn plans, prioritizing organic search results, conversion rate optimization, and user experience to deliver both short-term gains and long-term growth. You'll also be responsible for execution and measurement of Barry's digital media campaigns, ensuring they deliver strong ROAS results, and identifying opportunities for additional investment. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, you'll collaborate closely with various teams-from Product to Creative-to drive projects forward. Your role demands a blend of strategic insight and hands-on execution, with a keen ability to pivot between the two. As the lead for website, SEO, and digital media management, you'll bring your knowledge of industry best practices and appetite for innovation to drive impact on overall brand and business growth.

What you'll do

  • Identify and execute technical SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic for barrys.com and our 90 studio locations
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid search and social media campaigns across platforms
  • Measure and report performance of website traffic and all digital marketing campaigns (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance accordingly
  • Use your knowledge of SEO and website management to infuse barrys.com with brand personality and surprise and delight moments
  • Create and manage a content strategy that aligns with brand objectives and engages target audiences
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages that optimize user experience and drive conversion improvements
  • Own the governance and management of web content and user tracking, ensuring compliance with GDPR, ADA, WCAG, CCPA, etc
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests for user flows
  • Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies for testing
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Creative, Marketing, Strategy, and technology partners to execute campaigns, product announcements, and new studio openings to align digital strategies with broader business goals
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide perspective for the adoption of new systems
Qualifications
  • Embodies Barry's core values
  • 3-4 years in website management, SEO, paid media, social media, and CRO
  • Expertise in managing a global consumer brand's website with a track record of improving keyword rankings and user experience to meet business goals
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO and website maintenance tactics
  • Hands-on expertise in managing digital media and performance marketing initiatives
  • Four-year degree in marketing or business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proven track record collaborating cross-functionally and with senior leaders
  • Strong research skills and thorough knowledge of marketing best practices
  • Ability to be nimble and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers on website enhancements
  • Proficiency in G Suite, Microsoft Office, WordPress, Meta Ads Manager, Google AdWords, Google Analytics required
  • Familiarity with Canva, Klaviyo, Tableau a plus
