Dara Agruss Design is a boutique design and decorating firm. Our design process is personalized, interactive and collaborative. We are seeking a talented, versatile Design Assistant to join our team. We are looking for an eager and organized Design Assistant who can also manage administrative tasks and support our social media efforts. We operate within a hybrid work model, supporting flexibility between office time and work from home. Each day will be different and we are looking for someone who is able to manage their time effectively. This is position has 3 main roles: design assistant, administrative assistant and social media manager. Responsibilities: Design: • Assist with design concept development and presentations including preparing mood boards, sketches, or CAD drawings. • Visit showrooms and suppliers to gather samples. • Assist with on-site meetings including consultations with clients (taking notes & measurements). • Assist with installations. Administrative: • Create proposals/invoices and track items. • Communicate with vendors and ensure the accuracy of all items that are delivered on-site. • Research products including leadtimes, pricing, and availability. Social Media: • Create and curate visually appealing content, including images, videos, and graphics, that align with the firm's aesthetic. • Develop themes or series that showcase the firm’s projects, design tips, or behind-the-scenes insights. • Use design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Lightroom to enhance visuals. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or coursework in Interior Design. • Self-motivated, hard-working, and reliable. • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Canva, Photoshop; Graphic presentation skills. • Proficiency in Google workspace. • Strong organization and communication skills critical. • Familiarity with social media platforms, content creation, and analytics tools. Compensation: $25 hourly
